Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5S zwart 1,5 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5S Black 1.5m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is built for reliable, high-speed wired connections in home and professional environments. This 1.5 meter cable follows the Cat7 specification and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while RJ-45 connectors with gold plating provide stable contact and improved conductivity. The cable's black jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible installations and tidy cable runs.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP construction (shielded foil around each pair plus an overall braided shield) minimizes signal degradation and supports high-frequency data transmission. Cat7 performance enables higher bandwidth and improved noise immunity compared with earlier categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors resist corrosion and ensure consistent electrical contact over repeated insertions. The 1.5m length balances reach and neat cable management for desk, rack, or AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and NAS devices within short to medium distances
• Home and office networks where reduced interference and stable throughput are required
• Audio-visual systems, streaming devices and gaming rigs that benefit from wired low-latency connections
• Structured cabling runs in small server racks or media cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance for high bandwidth
• Shielding: S/FTP — foil shield around each pair plus overall braided shield
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1.5 metres
• Colour: Black
• Cable form factor: Twisted pairs inside shielded jacket suitable for Ethernet up to Cat7 limits

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal quality. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing or kinking the jacket. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damage.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for connections that require stable, low-interference wired networking within its 1.5m reach. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and replace if the outer jacket or connectors show visible wear. For longer runs, choose an appropriately longer Cat7 or higher-rated cable to maintain performance.
