Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5Y

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5Y is a 1.5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. With shielded twisted pairs and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and provides stable connections for home and professional networks. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility and identification in dense cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combined with Cat7 specification offers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared to lower-category cables. Gold-plated connector contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent signal transfer. A 1.5 m length provides flexibility for connecting nearby devices without excess slack, and the robust jacket enhances durability in everyday use.

Suitable for

• Wired gaming setups and game consoles
• High-definition streaming and media players
• Desktop PCs, laptops and network switches
• Small office and home network connections

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect (for example, router to PC, switch to console). Ensure connectors click into place and verify link/activity LEDs on the devices to confirm a successful connection. Replace or re-route the cable if excessive bending or compression could damage the jacket or shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain gentle cable bends (minimum bend radius recommended by equipment manufacturers), avoid running alongside high-power electrical cables, and use the cable for short to medium runs within the specified 1.5 m length to minimize latency and preserve signal integrity.
