Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75512-G-SET5 2 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75512-G-SET5 2m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable delivers a shielded, high-performance connection for Ethernet devices. Designed for stable data transfer in demanding home and office environments, this 2 meter cable uses Category 7 construction with S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve conductivity and contact reliability. Its green jacket provides a distinctive color option for visible or color-coded network installations.

Advantages

Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding combine to offer improved noise rejection and consistent throughput at higher frequencies compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact quality and corrosion resistance. The 2 m length suits compact setups while minimizing excess cable management. The cable's flexible jacket and standard RJ-45 termination ensure compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired internet connections for desktop PCs and laptops
• Connecting routers, switches and NAS devices in home or small office networks
• Color-coding or visible cable runs where a green cable is preferred
• Audio/video streaming and online gaming that require stable low-latency links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured for the desired network settings. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep the cable loosely coiled when storing. The plug is compatible with standard RJ-45 ports and requires no additional tools for basic connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables or other potential sources of interference. Use the 2 m length for short runs between rack-mounted equipment or desktop setups to reduce clutter. Inspect connectors periodically and ensure plugs are fully inserted to maintain reliable contact.
