Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75513-Y-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75513-Y-SET5 is a 3m Cat7 networking cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and provide stable transmission. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable supports reliable signal transfer for demanding network environments while its yellow jacket makes it easy to identify in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 classification and S/FTP construction deliver improved shielding compared with lower-category cables, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs enhance corrosion resistance and ensure consistent contact quality. The 3 meter length offers flexible placement options for home and office setups, and the bright yellow jacket aids cable management and quick visual identification.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and networked devices in home networks
• Office network cabling where interference protection is required
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs and patch panels in server rooms and racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Color: yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or network device and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the locking tab clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-heat areas; if running alongside power cables, maintain separation where possible to reduce potential interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable ties or clips without excessive tension.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in network segments that benefit from Cat7-level shielding when operating at high speeds or in electrically noisy environments. Avoid frequent tight bending near the connectors and inspect contact surfaces if connections become intermittent.
