Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75515-SLM magenta 5 m Cat7 U/FTP STP

The ShiverPeaks BS75515-SLM Magenta is a 5 m Cat7 networking cable with U/FTP (STP) shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Engineered to meet Cat7 performance, this cable supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its individually shielded pairs and overall foil shield. The magenta jacket provides a distinctive visual accent while maintaining flexibility and durability for home, office, or studio installations.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/FTP cable combines high bandwidth capability with enhanced shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated contacts improve long-term conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the 5 m length gives a balance between reach and signal integrity for common setups. The flexible yet robust jacket simplifies routing and installation in racks, under desks, or along walls without compromising shielding effectiveness.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections
• Gaming PCs, consoles, and high-bandwidth streaming devices
• Office networks, workstations, and small server connections
• Home studios and multimedia setups requiring stable low-latency links

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat7
• Cable length: 5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector contacts: Gold-plated
• Maximum supported speed: up to 10 Gbps
• Jacket color: magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, NIC) and the other to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends near the connectors and maintain clear separation from heavy power cabling to minimize potential interference. Use the 5 m length for mid-range connections; if running through cable channels or conduits, feed the cable gently to prevent crushing the shield.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 U/FTP cable where higher shielding and 10 Gbps-capable links are required. For best results in noisy electromagnetic environments or installations near power lines, route the cable separately and keep terminations clean. Regularly inspect connector contacts and jacket integrity when moving or reconfiguring equipment.
