Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75517-M magenta 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75517-M Magenta 7.5 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for environments that require stable, high-bandwidth data transfer. Constructed to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting fast Ethernet standards. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for desktop, rack, and room-to-room routing, and the magenta jacket makes cable runs easy to identify.

Advantages

Built to Cat7 standards with S/FTP shielding, the cable delivers improved signal integrity and reduced external interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The 7.5 m length balances reach and manageability, and the color-coded magenta jacket simplifies identification in multi-cable setups. The cable is suitable for high-bandwidth applications and provides backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet categories.

Suitable for

• Home and office wired Ethernet connections
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, video conferencing, and large file transfers
• Network racks and patch panels where shielded cabling is preferred
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference (near power lines or electronic equipment)

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Magenta
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs (AWG typical for Cat7 construction)
• Supported bandwidth: suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, ensuring the latch clicks into place for a secure connection. Route the 7.5 m cable along walls, under desks, or through cable management systems to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. For installations into patch panels or network switches, verify the shield continuity is maintained by using compatible shielded connectors and grounding practices if required by your infrastructure.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, avoid tight bends and heavy compression of the cable, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible, and use shielded terminations or grounded patch panels when deploying in environments with significant interference. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and ensure contacts remain clean for reliable long-term operation.
