Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75520-M magenta 10m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75520-M Magenta 10m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable delivers a high-performance wired connection for home and office networks. This 10-metre cable uses Category 7 specification and S/FTP (shielded twisted pair with overall braid) construction to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide a corrosion-resistant interface for consistent signal transfer. The magenta jacket makes the cable easy to identify in dense cable runs and adds a visually distinctive element to network installations.

Advantages

Built to Cat7 standards, this S/FTP cable supports higher bandwidth and improved shielding compared with lower-category cables, helping maintain stable throughput for demanding applications. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and reduce signal loss at connector points. A 10 metre length offers flexible placement between devices such as switches, routers, and workstations without the need for extension. The coloured outer sheath simplifies cable management and identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between router, switch and desktop or server within 10 m
• High-speed internet access, streaming and online gaming
• Small office and home network setups requiring enhanced shielding
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Cable shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port of your computer, gaming console, smart TV or networked device. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch snaps into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; leave some slack near connectors to reduce stress. If routing through conduits or cable trays, check the tray capacity and bend radius to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for runs up to 10 metres and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or damage and clean contacts gently if necessary. When mixing multiple cable categories in a network, keep Cat7 runs separate from lower-category wiring where possible to preserve shielding benefits.
