Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75525-M Magenta 15 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75525-M Magenta 15 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a 15-metre connection for high-bandwidth networks. Constructed to Cat7 standards with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable is designed to support fast data transfer rates while reducing electromagnetic interference. The magenta jacket offers a distinctive visual cue for cable management in home or office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external interference, helping maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for stable connections. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for typical room-to-room or rack-to-desk connections. The colored jacket simplifies identification when multiple cables are used.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and patch panels in home networks
• Office workstations and small server rooms requiring high data throughput
• Audio/video streaming and large file transfers that demand stable bandwidth
• Cable management setups where color-coded identification is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Magenta

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring a firm click to confirm the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise such as power transformers or heavy machinery. For wall or rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable ties or clips without compressing the shielding. Test the link using network diagnostic tools or a cable tester to verify continuity and performance after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat7 deployments and avoid routing the cable alongside mains power lines. Use the magenta color for organized patching in dense setups, and periodically inspect connectors for dust or corrosion to maintain reliable signal quality.
