Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-0.25W 0,25 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-0.25W 0.25m Cat6a S/FTP is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections in compact installations. With Cat6a performance and S/FTP shielding, this 0.25 metre cable supports enhanced noise immunity and stable data transmission between networked devices. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve electrical contact and resist corrosion. Its white jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for visible home or office cabling.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved electromagnetic and crosstalk protection thanks to its braided overall shield combined with individually foil-shielded pairs, reducing interference in environments with multiple signal sources. The RJ-45 connectors feature gold plating for reliable conductivity and long-term durability. The short 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable clutter and is convenient for patching between closely spaced ports or within network equipment racks and switches.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches, patch panels and routers in close proximity
• Short patch runs between wall outlets and desktop devices
• Clean, visible installations where cable color and compact length matter
• High-speed Ethernet links requiring Cat6a performance and improved shielding

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus foil on each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: White

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your network devices until they click into place. Use this 0.25 m patch cable for short connections where minimal slack is preferred, such as between adjacent switch ports or from a wall outlet to a nearby workstation. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid excessive bending near the connector boots to maintain signal integrity. Disconnect by pressing the connector tab and pulling straight out.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable parallel to power cords or large electrical equipment for extended runs. Use the 0.25 m length for tidy, short-distance connections; if longer distances are required select an appropriately rated Cat6a cable. Inspect connectors periodically for signs of wear and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors are damaged.
