Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711 1m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711 1m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for reliable, high-speed Ethernet connections. Featuring S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this grey cable supports enhanced signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference for demanding network environments. Copper-plated conductors provide consistent conductivity across the link, making it suitable for data centers, office networks, and home installations that require Gigabit and 10 Gigabit performance over short runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external EMI, improving transmission stability. The Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies and greater bandwidth compared with earlier categories, enabling faster data rates and more reliable throughput. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard networking equipment, and the 1 meter length offers a tidy connection between devices without excess cable.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within racks or cabinets
• Linking desktop PCs, NAS devices and workstations to local networks
• Short-run 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in server rooms and home labs
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor material: copper-plated conductors
• Color: grey

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port of your device and into the corresponding port on a switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish proper contact and verify link lights on connected equipment to confirm successful negotiation. For best performance, avoid excessive bending or twisting of the cable and keep it separated from large sources of electrical noise where possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, high-bandwidth connections where shielding improves signal quality. Maintain bend radius recommendations of connected equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to reduce potential interference.
