Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A 1m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A 1m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and point-to-point connections. This cable complies with Cat6a performance parameters and uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable is finished in a neutral grey jacket and terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends for compatibility with networking equipment.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against external noise and minimises pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting consistent throughput at higher frequencies required by Cat6a standards. Its 1 metre length offers a compact solution for connecting devices within racks, between patch panels and switches, or linking nearby networked equipment. The RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with Ethernet ports and network hardware that accept Cat6a performance levels.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels, servers and desktop PCs in data cabinets
• Short runs between wall sockets and network devices in offices or home environments
• Applications requiring reduced interference for high throughput, such as VoIP and video streaming

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Grey
• Impedance: 100 Ω (nominal)
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device and the other into the destination device or network port. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locking tabs engage to prevent accidental disconnection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends near the connector, excessive tension, or running the cable parallel to sources of strong electromagnetic interference without separation. Use in-line cable management or cable ties to maintain tidy runs and prevent strain at termination points.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, critical connections where reduced interference is required. For permanent in-wall installations, verify local regulations and consider cables specified for in-wall or plenum use. Test connections after installation with appropriate network testing tools if guaranteed performance is required.
