Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5 1,5m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5 1.5m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. Compliant with Cat6a performance parameters, this 1.5 metre cable supports high bandwidth and minimized crosstalk thanks to S/FTP shielding and individually shielded pairs. Terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs on both ends, the cable provides a straightforward solution for connecting switches, routers, network interface cards and other Ethernet devices in office, data centre and home network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and alien crosstalk, improving signal integrity over the cable run. Cat6a specification ensures support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate channel lengths and delivers consistent performance for demanding applications. The 1.5 m length offers a compact connection option for short runs where flexibility and reduced cable clutter are required. The outer jacket in grey provides a neutral appearance that integrates into various installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and routers in small racks or wall-mounted setups
• High-speed desktop or server connections where a short, reliable cable is needed
• Office and home networks requiring shielded cabling to reduce interference
• Data centre or telecom closets for short interconnects between equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Grey
• Suitable for: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet at supported channel lengths

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable and keep the cable routed away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible.

Recommendations

For best results in shielded installations, ensure that connected equipment and patch panels are properly grounded to maintain the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding. Use this 1.5 m cable for short direct connections rather than long runs; for longer distances select cables and channel components rated for Cat6a end-to-end performance.
