Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5Y

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5Y is a 1.5 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable supports Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium distances while the yellow jacket improves visibility in crowded cable runs. The S/FTP construction—individually foil-shielded pairs plus an overall braided shield—reduces crosstalk and external interference to maintain signal integrity in office, data center, or home network environments.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat6a performance in a compact 1.5 m length, providing reliable high-frequency signal transmission for demanding network tasks. S/FTP shielding minimizes alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving stability for high-throughput connections. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and quick plug-and-play installation. The yellow sheath enables easy identification and organization of network segments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network devices in racks and cabinets
• Short-run 10 Gigabit Ethernet links between servers and storage
• Office and home network connections where interference is a concern
• Patch cabling in data centers and telecom rooms requiring color-coded wiring

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 1.5 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs + braided overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, 8P8C
• Color: Yellow
• Supported standards: Suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over recommended distances

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully seated to make proper contact and avoid bending the cable sharply near the plug. For best performance, keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid excessive tension or repeated flexing that could damage the shield or conductors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short-to-medium runs where higher bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Choose the yellow color to maintain clear cable identification in patch fields and structured cabling setups. If longer runs are needed, select appropriate Cat6a or higher-rated cables with length suitable for the installation and verify link performance after installation.
