Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-AS 1m Cat6a S/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-AS is a 1 meter Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-bandwidth applications, this black cable provides a short, reliable connection between networked devices in home and office environments. The S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference for more stable data transfer at higher speeds compared with lower-category cables.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding of the ShiverPeaks BS75711-AS reduces external and inter-pair interference, which helps maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. Its Cat6a specification supports higher-frequency transmission suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs. The 1 meter length keeps cable clutter minimal while RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports. The black jacket offers a neutral aesthetic suitable for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or workstation to a nearby network switch or router
• Short patch runs inside racks, patch panels, or wall outlets
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers, streaming, and online collaboration
• Environments with multiple cables where reduced interference is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as a computer, switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting of the cable and keep the run as short and direct as practical. If installed in equipment racks or along cable trays, route the cable to minimize contact with power lines or strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use the ShiverPeaks BS75711-AS for short, high-speed connections where Cat6a performance and S/FTP shielding are beneficial. For permanent in-wall installations or longer runs, check local installation standards and choose cables rated for in-wall or plenum use if required.
