Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5S 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5S 0.5m Cat6 S/FTP Black is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. This Cat6 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short runs. It comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The compact 0.5 m length and black jacket make it suitable for tidy, unobtrusive connections in crowded racks, desktop setups, or network appliances.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides combined foil and braided shielding that enhances protection against crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and long-term reliability. The short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter and improves airflow in rack or desktop environments. The flexible black jacket offers durability while remaining unobtrusive in professional and home settings.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in server racks or network cabinets
• Short runs between desktop computers and wall outlets
• Linking networked peripherals such as NAS devices, printers, or media players
• High-density patching where cable length needs to be minimal to reduce tangling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individual pair foil)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Cable jacket color: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router, patch panel, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the retention clip clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference or high-voltage power lines. The short length is intended for direct, tidy connections rather than long-distance runs.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-quality links where minimized cable slack and improved shielding are priorities. In high-density rack installations, label both ends to simplify maintenance and ensure the cable is routed without tight bends to preserve signal integrity.
