Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HB blauw 1 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HB Blue 1 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a single-meter Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6 performance standards with S/FTP shielding, it supports high-speed data transmission while reducing electromagnetic interference. The cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. The blue jacket provides a clear visual identifier for cabling runs and modernizes the appearance of network installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for gigabit Ethernet and higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver reliable electrical contact and better resistance to wear and oxidation compared with unplated connectors. The 1 m length is convenient for patching between network devices in racks, wall ports, or desktop setups without excess cable bulk. The cable meets Cat6 category specifications, which supports higher bandwidth and reduced attenuation compared with lower category cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in office and home networks
• Patching between wall outlets and desktop computers or networked peripherals
• Short runs in server racks, network cabinets, and media equipment setups
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and stable gigabit connections

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 1 m cable to patch devices that are close together, such as from a wall socket to a desktop PC, between a switch and a patch panel, or to connect a router to a modem. Avoid tight bends and excessive twisting to maintain signal performance; route the cable with gentle curves and secure it with cable ties or management clips as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines and large inductive sources. When using multiple shielded cables in parallel, maintain proper grounding of network equipment and patch panels to ensure shielding is effective. Replace cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors to prevent connection issues.
