Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HG 1m Cat6 S/FTP groen

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HG 1m Cat6 S/FTP Green networking cable is designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office networks. This Cat6 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer. The 1 metre length suits short runs between devices, patch panels, switches and wall outlets while the green jacket provides easy visual identification within structured cabling systems.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shields around each twisted pair, improving protection against external noise and internal crosstalk compared to unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent conductivity over repeated insertions. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance for gigabit Ethernet applications. The compact 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter and helps maintain tidy installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers for gigabit Ethernet
• Patch connections in data cabinets and network racks
• Short links between wall outlets and network devices
• Environments where color-coded cabling simplifies identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Cable jacket color: Green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch or PC) and the other into the corresponding port of the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, pinching and proximity to high-voltage power lines to maintain signal integrity. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management features to secure the cable and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in environments where shielding is beneficial, such as near electrical equipment or in dense patching areas. Avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and keep bend radius greater than the cable diameter to prevent damage. Replace the cable if connectors become loose or contacts show visible wear.
