Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HS zwart 1m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HS Black 1m Cat6 S/FTP is a 1‑metre Ethernet patch cable built for reliable high‑speed data transmission in home, office, and small‑scale network environments. The cable conforms to Cat6 performance parameters, utilises S/FTP (braided overall shield with individually foiled pairs) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference, and is fitted with gold‑plated RJ‑45 plugs to maintain signal integrity and resist corrosion. The compact black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting more consistent throughput in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic equipment. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors ensure stable contact and reduce oxidation over time, while the one‑metre length minimises excess cable in patching scenarios. The Cat6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet and common modern networking needs.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices to a router, switch, or patch panel within short distances
• Gigabit Ethernet connections for PCs, NAS, consoles and smart TVs
• Wiring in small office or home office setups where interference protection is required
• Temporary and permanent patching in server racks and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 — supports Gigabit Ethernet performance
• Length: 1 metre
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 with gold plating for contact durability
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the device Ethernet port and the other into the router, switch or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connector and prevent sharp kinks along the cable run. Keep the cable routed away from high‑power electrical lines and large transformers to reduce potential interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, direct connections where a tidy installation is desired. For longer runs or installations requiring in‑wall routing, select cables with appropriate fire ratings and lengths. When connecting sensitive equipment in high‑interference environments, pair the S/FTP cable with grounded networking equipment to maximise shielding effectiveness.
