Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75712-HS zwart 2m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-HS Black 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a straightforward solution for wired Ethernet connections. This Cat6 cable is two metres long and comes in a black jacket, equipped with RJ-45 plugs and gold‑plated contacts to support reliable signal transfer and reduced contact corrosion. Its S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable performance in typical home and office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction improves immunity to external interference and pair‑to‑pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts promote consistent electrical contact and resist oxidation over time. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved margin for Gigabit Ethernet and applications that demand low latency and steady throughput. A 2 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices close to routers, switches, or wall outlets while keeping cable runs neat.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops, network switches and routers in home or small office setups
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for streaming, online gaming and file transfers
• Connecting networked printers, NAS devices and multimedia players
• Short to medium desk and rack patching where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + foil around each twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold‑plated contacts
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Color: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your modem, router or switch and the other into the Ethernet socket of your computer, NAS or other network device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For shielded cables, verify that connected network equipment and patch panels are properly grounded to benefit from the shielding. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive compression to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where reduced interference and reliable Gigabit performance are required. Avoid tight coils and keep the cable away from high‑voltage power lines and strong RF sources for optimal results.
