Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75713-A 3m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-A 3m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable provides a shielded, high-performance connection for Ethernet networks. Constructed to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations, the cable supports high data rates and improved noise immunity for reliable wired links between networking equipment, computers, switches and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Cat6a-rated conductor geometry and materials enable performance at higher frequencies and increased bandwidth compared with lower category cables. A 3 metre length offers a balance between reach and cable management for desktop and rack-side connections, while the RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates easily into office or home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in offices and homes
• Patch panel to switch or switch to wall outlet connections
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium runs
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on each pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding device Ethernet port or network patch panel until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain electrical performance and mechanical integrity. For installations in shielded systems, ensure the cable shields are properly terminated and that connected equipment or patch panels provide a reliable grounding path for the braid and foil.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium-length links where 10 Gigabit Ethernet or improved interference resistance is required. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines; maintain proper bend radius and secure connectors to prevent intermittent connections.
