Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75713-AR rood 3m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-AR Red 3m Cat6a S/FTP is a 3‑metre Ethernet patch cable designed to deliver high-speed network connections with reduced electromagnetic interference. Built to Cat6a performance guidelines and equipped with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, this cable provides reliable 10 Gigabit-capable links for demanding wired networks. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, network sockets and devices that accept RJ-45 connections.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design minimises crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity over the full 3 m length. Cat6a performance supports higher bandwidth and sustained data throughput compared with lower-category cables. The cable’s red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch bays, racks or multi-cable installations, simplifying cable management and troubleshooting without affecting performance.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in small offices and data closets
• High-bandwidth home networks for streaming, gaming and media servers
• Patch connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved cable identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid and individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Red
• Supports up to 10 Gbps data rates (where network equipment permits)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device or network outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until you hear a click for a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and proximity to large power cables; maintain gentle cable radius and secure routing in cable channels or tie points.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP patch cable for short structured cabling runs up to 3 m where reduced interference and clear cabling identification are required. Match with compatible network equipment rated for Cat6a or higher to achieve the cable’s full performance potential.
