Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75713-AS 3m Cat6a S/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-AS 3m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for high-speed data transfer. Constructed to Cat6a standards with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 3-meter cable supports gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications where distance and reduced electromagnetic interference are important. Its black jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for home or office network installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (screened overall with individually foil-wrapped pairs) reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over the cable length. Cat6a specification ensures support for higher bandwidths and frequencies compared with earlier cable categories, allowing stable connections for demanding network tasks. The 3 m length balances reach and manageability in desk-to-switch or patch-panel-to-equipment connections. Standard RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with network devices.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP – overall braided/foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs
• Length: 3 meters
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, 8P8C
• Color: Black
• Supported Ethernet speeds: up to 10 Gbps (over appropriate distances and equipment)
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper (solid or stranded depending on assembly)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (computer, switch, router or NAS) and the other end to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure. Ensure connectors are fully seated until you hear a click. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks, or tight loops and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use cable management accessories to maintain order and prevent strain on connectors.
