Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75713-B blauw 3m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-B Blue 3m Cat6a S/FTP is a 3-meter Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6a performance and equipped with S/FTP shielding. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission and resist corrosion. The cable's blue jacket identifies it easily within installations and provides a flexible, durable connection for network devices in home or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved crosstalk and electromagnetic interference protection thanks to its foil shielding around each pair and an overall braided screen. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent contact conductivity and longer connector life. The 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical desktop and rack connections, while the robust jacket supports repeated handling and organized cable runs.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between PCs, switches, routers and networked devices
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium distances
• Office and home network installations requiring reduced interference
• Structured cabling where color-coding and visible identification is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Cable jacket color: Blue
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to 10 Gbps at supported distances
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pairs

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of each device until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; allow a gentle bend radius to prevent internal conductor stress. For best performance, use this cable for direct device-to-device connections, patch panel to switch links, or short horizontal cabling runs within a rack or workstation area.

Recommendations

For sustained high-speed performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it separated from power lines or large electrical equipment. Use appropriate cable management such as clips or ties to maintain airflow and prevent strain on connectors. When installing in structured environments, adhere to industry guidelines for bend radius and separation from potential interference sources.
