Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75717-R rood 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75717-R Red 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable delivers a reliable wired connection for home and office environments. Built to Cat6a standard with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable provides stable high-speed data transfer over a 7.5 meter length. The red jacket offers clear visual identification in patching panels and under-desk runs while the cable construction is intended to limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around the pairs and an overall shield reduce susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, supporting consistent throughput. Cat6a specification enables higher bandwidth and improved performance for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion risk, while the 7.5m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical workstation and equipment layouts.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and PCs in home or small office setups
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K streaming, online gaming and video conferencing
• Large file transfers and NAS or media server connections
• Cable runs requiring color-coded identification or patch panel organization

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pairs with overall shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper
• Typical supported bandwidth: up to 500 MHz (Cat6a performance range)

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks Cat6a cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on a router, switch, modem or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, tightly pinched areas and strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal quality. For installations in patch panels or wall jacks, verify that the connected equipment supports Cat6a performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable for permanent or temporary wired setups where stable, low-latency connections are needed. Keep the cable loosely coiled when storing and avoid kinking. For best results in high-density installations, separate power cables and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity.
