Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-AS 15m Cat6a S/FTP wit

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-AS 15m Cat6a S/FTP White networking cable is designed for high-speed wired network connections. This 15-metre cable uses Cat6a specification and S/FTP shielding to support reliable data transfer with reduced electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, providing compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shields around each pair, which improves protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. The Cat6a rating supports high data rates and is suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at short to medium distances. A 15 m length offers flexibility for room-to-room or rack-to-desk connections while minimizing the need for additional patch panels or couplers. RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with standard Ethernet equipment.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in small office or home networks
• Connecting desktop computers, switches and network storage devices
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually braided pair shields)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: White
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps (application-dependent)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port of your computer, NAS or other network device. Avoid sharp bends and tight kinks when routing the cable to maintain signal integrity. For installations near potential sources of interference, orient the cable routing to minimize parallel runs alongside high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment. Verify link status on connected devices to confirm an active network connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat6a in your installation environment and use shielded connectors or grounded patch panels where building grounding is available. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or terminations become compromised.
