Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75726-AB blauw 20 m

The ShiverPeaks BS75726-AB Blue 20m is a Cat6a networking cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. With S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors at both ends, this cable supports demanding data transfer tasks while reducing electromagnetic interference. Its 20-metre length and durable outer jacket make it suitable for structured cabling runs in home and office environments where consistent network performance is required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise, improving signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies and data rates than earlier categories, enabling stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over shorter to moderate distances. The molded RJ-45 connectors ensure secure, standardized connections, and the blue color helps identify and organize network cabling within racks and workspaces.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks connecting routers, switches, NAS and desktop PCs
• Office Ethernet installations for workstations and networked printers
• Audio/video streaming and media servers requiring reliable bandwidth
• Structured cabling in small server rooms and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance for high-frequency data transmission
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foil‑shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends
• Length: 20 metres
• Conductor: multi-strand copper conductors for flexibility
• Jacket: durable outer sheath suitable for indoor installation

How to use

Route the cable from your network switch or router to the target device, avoiding sharp bends and heavy compression. Insert the RJ-45 plugs fully into the Ethernet ports until they click to ensure a secure connection. For permanent installations, secure the cable along walls or in cable trays using appropriate fasteners and maintain bend radius recommendations to preserve signal quality. If terminating into patch panels or wall sockets, follow standard wiring color codes and use proper tools to avoid damaging the shielding and pairs.

Recommendations

To maximize performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For network upgrades or installations requiring 10 Gigabit speeds, use Cat6a-rated ports and compatible networking equipment. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are damaged.
