Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75726-AY 20m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75726-AY 20m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance connection for structured cabling, patch panels and direct device links. Built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 20-metre cable supports high-speed data transfer and reduces electromagnetic interference. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility and cable management in racks and wiring setups.

Advantages

The cable's Cat6a rating enables reliable transmission at 10 Gbps speeds over typical installation distances while S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs) lowers crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Factory-crimped RJ-45 plugs ensure secure terminations and consistent contact performance. The 20m length offers flexibility for connecting equipment across larger server closets, offices or AV installations without intermediate patching.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in small office and data center environments
• Patch panel to switch/device connections where longer cable runs are required
• Audio‑visual systems, streaming and media production requiring low-latency, high-throughput links
• Structured cabling installations where clear color-coding is needed for management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 male on both ends
• Length: 20 metres
• Outer jacket color: Yellow
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 500 MHz (Cat6a typical performance)

How to use

Uncoil the cable fully before installation to avoid kinks and ensure optimal signal performance. Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on switches, routers, patch panels or devices until the latch clicks into place. Route the cable through cable management trays or tie points, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as heavy machinery or high-voltage power lines. For permanent installations, label each end to match your cabling documentation.

Recommendations

For best results, maintain bend radii greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid running the cable in parallel with unshielded power lines for long distances, and use shielded patch panels and grounded terminations when deploying S/FTP cabling to preserve shielding effectiveness.
