Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75726-HG groen 20 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75726-HG Green 20m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a 20-metre Ethernet lead designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Built to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable Gigabit connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the green jacket makes cable routing and identification straightforward in mixed-cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise near-end crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in busy network installations. Cat6 performance supports higher frequency signals than Cat5e, enabling reliable Gigabit Ethernet and lowering packet loss during heavy data transfers. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and long-term durability, and the 20 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between racks without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Home and small office wired Ethernet connections
• Gigabit network links between switches, routers and PCs
• Audio/video streaming and online gaming where stable throughput is required
• Structured cabling runs where colour-coded cables aid identification

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance for up to Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil shield plus individually shielded pairs
• Length: 20 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Casing colour: Green for easy identification
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs (solid or stranded depending on variant)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device (switch, router, modem or computer) and the other into the corresponding port of the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the retention clip clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power lines to preserve S/FTP effectiveness. For wall or ceiling installations, use appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the cable for distances up to 20 m without additional couplers; keep it separated from high-power electrical cables and avoid sharp bends. Verify network devices support Gigabit speeds to achieve full Cat6 performance and inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage to maintain reliable connections.
