Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75727-A 25m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75727-A 25m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections over longer runs. Constructed to the Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding, this 25-metre grey cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to maintain consistent data throughput. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it provides a straightforward plug-and-play connection for switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to provide improved protection against external interference and near-end crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. The Cat6a design supports higher bandwidth and more reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance at distances up to the cable length. Durable outer jacket and factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs reduce installation time and help ensure long-term signal integrity in home and office environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in home or small office networks
• Patch panel to switch or switch to switch connections
• High-bandwidth applications such as media streaming, large file transfers and virtualization
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey
• Suitable for Ethernet speeds up to 10 Gbps over supported distances

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks and route it along cable management paths or trunking as required. Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards. Ensure connectors click into place and verify link lights on equipment to confirm connection. For best performance, avoid tightly bundling shielded cables with high-power electrical lines and maintain gentle bend radii at terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal shielding performance, connect cable shields to grounded patch panels or chassis where available. Test the installed link with a network tester that supports Cat6a parameters to confirm return loss and near-end crosstalk are within acceptable limits.
