Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75727-H 25m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75727-H 25m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a 25-metre grey Ethernet cable designed for structured cabling where stable high-speed data transfer and reduced interference are required. Constructed to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable combines a foil shield around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield to limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors for straightforward connection to routers, switches, network cards and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction improves signal integrity over longer runs and in environments with multiple electronic devices. Cat6 performance supports gigabit Ethernet and higher bandwidth applications within standard channel distances. The 25 m length offers flexibility for linking devices across rooms or between network racks without additional patching. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends into office or home environments.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit home networks and streaming
• Office LAN connections between workstations, switches and patch panels
• Connecting routers, modems, network-attached storage (NAS) and gaming consoles
• Structured cabling runs requiring shielded cable to reduce EMI

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance level
• Length: 25 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Outer jacket color: grey
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission for gigabit and similar networks

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring the length accommodates the required distance without tight bends or kinks. Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices; the connectors are keyed to click into place. If installing within walls, conduits or structured cabling systems, follow local regulations and standards for cable type and installation practices. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, test the link after installation with a network tester to verify continuity and signal quality. Use shielded patch panels and properly grounded equipment when deploying shielded S/FTP cable to ensure the shielding is effective. Replace the cable if visible damage to the jacket or connectors appears.
