Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75750-A 50m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS75750-A 50m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems. This 50-meter cable conforms to Category 6a performance, with S/FTP shielding that combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in a neutral grey jacket, the cable is suitable for backbone runs, patching, and point-to-point connections where 10 Gigabit Ethernet and stable performance are required.

Advantages

S/FTP construction offers improved immunity to interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices or nearby power cabling. The Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies and bandwidth for 10 Gbps Ethernet at distances up to its rated length. The 50 m length provides flexibility for mid-range installations without the need for splicing, and the grey outer jacket combines a professional appearance with durable mechanical protection for repeated handling during installation.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in office or data center environments
• Backbone and horizontal cabling runs within commercial or residential buildings
• Connections near electronic equipment or power lines where shielding reduces interference
• Patch panel to switch or workstation connections requiring Cat6a performance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually foil-shielded pairs
• Length: 50 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 terminated on both ends
• Color: Grey outer jacket
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps over specified distances
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper

How to use

Route the cable along the planned pathway, avoiding sharp bends and sources of sustained heat. Ensure proper grounding where required for shielded cabling and maintain the recommended bend radius during installation. Terminate or connect the RJ-45 plugs into compatible network ports on switches, patch panels, or devices, verifying secure mechanical connection. Test the link using appropriate cabling testers or network equipment to confirm continuity, pair integrity and performance at the desired data rate.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the cable away from heavy power cables and noisy equipment, and observe the manufacturer’s recommendations for grounding and connector compatibility for shielded cabling. Use certified testing tools to verify Cat6a performance after installation.
