Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75900-100HSSP

The ShiverPeaks BS75900-100HSSP is a 100 m Cat6 networking cable with S/FTP shielding in a grey jacket, engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to meet Cat6 performance parameters, the cable supports gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links and is suitable for structured cabling installations, media streaming, online gaming, and large data transfers. Its screening design reduces crosstalk and external interference to maintain consistent signal quality across longer runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs, offering improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. A 100 m drum length provides continuous runs for standard room-to-room or rack-to-rack cabling without frequent splicing. The grey outer jacket is designed for general-purpose installations and helps the cable blend into typical office and residential environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktop computers and workstations
• Home and small-office structured cabling for routers, switches and patch panels
• High-bandwidth activities such as gaming, 4K streaming and large file transfers
• Runs that require reduced interference in environments with nearby electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6, suitable for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 100 m continuous cable
• Colour: Grey outer jacket
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors (solid core typical for in-wall and permanent installations)

How to use

Measure the required run length and route the cable through conduits, cable trays or along baseboards as appropriate for the installation. Terminate each end with compatible RJ45 connectors or use patch panels and keystone jacks rated for Cat6 and shielded connections. Maintain proper bend radius and avoid tight kinks; do not exceed the specified maximum pull tension when installing. Ensure shield connection continuity by grounding the overall cable shield at the patch panel or equipment chassis when required by the installation environment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the cable with Cat6-compliant connectors and networking equipment, verify continuity and shielding with a cable tester after installation, and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference.
