Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45-patchkabel model 08-35073

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable model 08-35073 is a network patch lead engineered to deliver Cat 7 performance for high-speed Ethernet connections. The cable implements a U/UTP construction—unshielded overall with unshielded pairs—and terminates in standard RJ45 connectors. It is intended for linking switches, routers, patch panels and other network devices within data centers, offices and structured cabling installations. The product is offered in a green 10 m length and is designed to meet the connectivity needs of modern wired networks.

Advantages

The cable supports Cat 7 performance levels while using an unshielded overall design, providing a balance of high-frequency transmission capability and straightforward installation. Standard RJ45 terminations ensure compatibility with common Ethernet ports and network equipment. The 10 m length and visible green jacket simplify routing and identification in rack or floor-cabinet environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers in office networks
• Patch panel to switch or switch-to-switch links in structured cabling
• Wiring of workstations and desktop network devices
• Short runs within data center racks and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Performance category: Cat 7
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45
• Length: 10 m
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Route the cable between the desired network ports ensuring connectors are inserted fully into RJ45 sockets until they click. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during installation to preserve internal pair geometry. For structured cabling, label both ends and secure the cable within cable management trays or ties as needed. Verify link status and speed using connected devices or network testing tools after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources where possible, and avoid running it parallel and close to mains power cables. Use the cable for horizontal and patching connections within its 10 m length; for longer distances consider appropriate in-cabinet or permanent link cabling solutions.
