Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45-patchkabel, model 08-35081

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable, model 08-35081, is a Category 7 Ethernet patch lead engineered to provide high-speed wired connections for network equipment. Constructed with U/UTP cable and fitted with standard RJ45 terminations, this 15 m cable is intended for use in structured cabling, server racks, office desktops and residential networks where higher frequency performance and reduced crosstalk are required compared with lower-category cables.

Advantages

The cable’s U/UTP construction offers improved alien crosstalk resistance at higher frequencies, while maintaining compatibility with RJ45 ports on routers, switches and patch panels. Its Cat 7 specification supports higher bandwidths for demanding data transfers and makes it suitable for installations that aim to future-proof LAN segments. The durable outer jacket and factory-terminated RJ45 connectors simplify installation and reduce the need for on-site terminations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and data cabinets
• Structured cabling in offices and commercial premises
• Home networking where Cat 7 performance and reduced interference are desired
• High-throughput Ethernet links for video streaming, backups and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 performance level
• Cable type: U/UTP (overall braid/foil absence with individual unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 plug on both ends
• Length: 15 meters
• Color: blue
• Suitable frequency range: up to Cat 7 defined bandwidths for high-speed Ethernet
• Application: patching between network equipment, structured cabling segments

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connector securely into the Ethernet ports of network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges, and secure it with cable management accessories where appropriate. For wall or patch-panel installations, use standard cable management practices to maintain bend radius and separation from power cables. The factory-terminated RJ45 plugs eliminate the need for on-site crimping.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from sources of electrical interference and maintain the recommended bend radius. Use this Cat 7 patch cable within structured cabling systems that support Cat 7 or are backward compatible with lower categories. When installing in permanent infrastructure, complement the cable with compatible connectors and panels rated for Cat 7 performance to preserve bandwidth and crosstalk characteristics.
