Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 0.25m networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable local connections. Constructed to Cat6 standards, the cable features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to support stable, high-speed data transfer in compact setups where a short lead is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby network equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for long-term contact reliability. Its 0.25m length minimizes cable clutter and is suitable for close-proximity connections between devices such as switches, patch panels and network interface ports.

Suitable for

• Short connections between network devices (switch-to-switch, switch-to-patch panel)
• Desk or rack installations where minimal cable length is required
• High-speed data transfers within home or office LANs
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the network ports of your devices until they click into place. Use this 0.25m cable for direct, short-distance connections to reduce excess cabling and improve cable management. Ensure both devices support Cat6 speeds for optimal performance. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to maintain shielding integrity and connector fit.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable in indoor environments and keep within the recommended bend radius. When connecting in areas with strong electromagnetic sources, confirm proper grounding of network equipment to complement the S/FTP shielding. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of wear or if data errors increase.
