Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 2,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 2.0m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. Built to Cat6 standard with S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 2.0 meter blue cable supports high-speed data transmission while reducing electromagnetic interference. Its compact length is suitable for connecting devices across short distances without excess cable clutter.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise, improving signal integrity for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and stable contact performance over repeated insertions. Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and lower latency compared with older cable categories, making the cable suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and many modern networking requirements.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, and network switches within home and small office environments
• Linking gaming consoles or streaming devices to a wired network for stable throughput
• Short-distance server or NAS connections in rack or desktop setups
• Temporary or permanent patching in patch panels and wall outlets where 2.0 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2.0 meters
• Color: Blue
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet and lower-latency LAN applications

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the corresponding port on your router, switch, or modem until it clicks into place. Verify link status on connected devices to confirm a successful connection. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Coil any excess cable loosely to prevent sharp bends that could damage the internal conductors.

Recommendations

Use this 2.0m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, direct connections where reduced interference and reliable Gigabit performance are required. For longer runs or specific installation environments, consult installation guidelines for appropriate cable categories and shielding types.
