Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 3 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP networking cable in red, length 3 meters, is designed to provide stable high-speed Ethernet connections in home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable aims to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain reliable data transfer rates over its rated distance. The cable is suitable for connecting computers, routers, switches, gaming consoles and other networked devices where Gigabit performance and signal integrity are required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil with individually shielded pairs) improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference and minimizes crosstalk between pairs, supporting consistent throughput. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide corrosion resistance and stable contact for repeated plug cycles. The 3 meter length balances flexibility and reach for typical desk-to-router or equipment-to-switch connections, while the visible red jacket simplifies cable identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office network patching between wall ports, switches and endpoints
• Connecting gaming consoles, smart TVs and media players to a router
• Temporary or permanent desk setups requiring a reliable 3 m cable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Cable jacket color: red
• Supports Gigabit Ethernet and frequencies up to Cat6 standard

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of the devices you wish to connect until the latch clicks. Ensure both ends are fully seated in the router, switch or device ports. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and placement near strong sources of electromagnetic noise. For wall-mounted or permanent installations, use appropriate cable management to secure and protect the cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius gentle; do not exceed the recommended maximum length for Cat6 links when integrating into longer network runs. Use the red jacket to mark critical connections or to separate traffic types in multi-cable installations.
