Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat6 U/UTP 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 U/UTP 7.5m networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for Ethernet networks. With a length of 7.5 meters and a U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with an overall unshielded jacket) design, this cable supports high-speed data transmission for typical Cat6 applications. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact conductivity and resist corrosion. Its white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

The cable's Cat6 specification enables support for higher bandwidths and reduced crosstalk compared with older category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent connectivity and improved durability at contact points. The 7.5 meter length offers flexibility for routing between devices without the need for extension adapters. The U/UTP construction balances performance and cost for standard structured cabling environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop computers to routers, switches, or modems
• Cable runs between network switches in home and small office setups
• Wired connections for smart TVs, game consoles, and media players
• Temporary or semi-permanent office workstation connections where a 7.5 m length is suitable

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall jacket, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: White
• Conductor type: Copper (solid or stranded depending on variant)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference when possible. For best performance, verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power cables over long distances. Use cable clips or trunking for neat installation, and inspect connector ends periodically for dust or damage. Replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or if connections become intermittent.
