Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 3m groen S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 3m Green S/FTP networking cable provides a 3-meter connection with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Designed for Cat6a performance, this patch cable supports high-speed Ethernet links and maintains signal integrity across longer runs. The green jacket offers a distinctive visual cue for cable management in home or office deployments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair plus an overall braid improves immunity to external noise and helps maintain consistent throughput for demanding applications. Cat6a specification enables support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate distances and lowers attenuation compared with lower-category cables. The 3 m length balances reach and minimal excess cable, while the molded RJ45 connectors provide strain relief and reliable mating.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers and workstations in offices
• Home network links between routers, NAS devices and gaming consoles
• Short structured cabling runs in server rooms and telecom closets
• Environments requiring reduced EMI such as near power equipment or dense cable bundles

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a, suitable for 10GBASE-T
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + each pair foil)
• Length: 3 meters
• Conductor: twisted pairs with insulation meeting Cat6a requirements
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and use cable ties or organizers to maintain clear pathways. When connecting network equipment, power down or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the device manufacturer if required. Test the link with a network tester or via device diagnostics to confirm negotiated speed and link integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends (radius less than approximately four times the cable diameter) and keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines where practical. Use the green color for easy identification within patch panels or cable trays, and replace the cable if visible damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
