Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP711-SLB blauw 1m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP711-SLB Blue 1m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed data connections in home and office environments. This 1 meter Cat6 cable uses an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) design to meet Category 6 performance for applications such as Gigabit Ethernet. It is terminated with RJ-45 plugs plated in gold to provide consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance while maintaining a compact, easy-to-install form factor. The cable's blue jacket provides visual identification within structured cabling or small network setups.

Advantages

The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal performance compared with earlier categories, reducing crosstalk and supporting network speeds up to Gigabit Ethernet under standard conditions. The U/UTP construction balances flexibility and performance for short-run patching and direct device connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and help resist oxidation for sustained electrical contact over time. The 1 m length minimizes excess cable in tidy installations and simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, or workstations to switches or routers
• Patching between network equipment in home or small office racks
• Connecting gaming consoles, smart TVs, or streaming devices for stable Ethernet
• Temporary or permanent runs where a short, visible colored cable is desired

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 1 m
• Conductor configuration: Unshielded Twisted Pair (U/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Blue
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission (up to Gigabit speeds under standard conditions)

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the port on the switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical connection. For best signal integrity, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers. Use appropriate cable management clips or ties to keep the installation tidy and to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 cable for short patch runs and device connections within 1 meter. Avoid exposing the cable to sustained mechanical stress, sharp bends, or environments with excessive heat or moisture. When deploying multiple cables in the same pathway, maintain proper separation from electrical power lines where possible to minimize interference.
