Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP712-SLW 2m Cat6 U/UTP wit

The ShiverPeaks SP712-SLW 2m Cat6 U/UTP White is a network patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in home, office, and professional network environments. This Cat6 cable supports higher bandwidth than Cat5e and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The cable features U/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 2-meter length and white jacket offer a balance between reach and discreet installation in visible areas.

Advantages

The SP712-SLW provides stable performance for high-speed network connections thanks to Cat6 specification and U/UTP design that reduces external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and longer connector life. The white outer jacket is easy to integrate into modern interiors and offers basic protection against mechanical wear. This cable is manufactured to meet standard electrical and transmission characteristics expected from Cat6 class components.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Wiring patch panels and wall outlets in small office or home installations
• Short runs between network equipment in server rooms and wiring closets
• Temporary setups for events, presentations, or testing network devices

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with individually unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 meters
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Color: White outer jacket
• Supported network: Up to Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and suitable for frequencies up to Cat6 specification

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; maintain the natural bend radius to preserve transmission quality. For network equipment changes, disconnect by pressing the connector tab and pulling the plug straight out to avoid damaging the latch.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the 2 m length for short to moderate connections; for longer distances, consider certified horizontal cabling or fiber solutions. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or corrosion and replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or if performance issues occur.
