Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP713-SLB blauw 3m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP713-SLB Blue 3m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable is a 3-metre Ethernet lead engineered to meet Category 6 performance. It supports high-speed data transfer and reliable signal integrity for wired networks in residential and small office environments. The cable uses unshielded twisted pairs with an overall U/UTP configuration to reduce external interference while maintaining flexibility and ease of installation. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term use.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable delivers stable gigabit-capable performance for typical home and office network needs while remaining easy to route and manage thanks to its 3 m length and flexible jacket. The U/UTP arrangement reduces the effect of external electromagnetic interference without adding bulky individual shielding, and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and improved durability. The blue outer jacket provides a clear visual identification in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or network printers to a router or switch
• Wired connections for gaming consoles and smart TVs requiring stable bandwidth
• Small office network links and workstation cabling
• Temporary or permanent patch-cord applications in home labs and racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 3 metres
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielding)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility (typical for patch cables)
• Outer jacket colour: blue
• Typical use: Gigabit Ethernet and lower-latency LAN links

How to use

Insert an RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other end into the corresponding port on your router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that can strain the conductors; keep it away from mains power cables where possible to minimize interference. After connection, verify link lights on devices and perform a network test to confirm expected throughput and stability.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 cable for connections up to 3 metres in length and avoid excessive bending radii. When deploying in areas with high electromagnetic interference, consider using shielded cabling or separate cable routing. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if connectors become loose or contacts corroded.
