Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP713-SLS zwart 3 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP713-SLS Black 3 m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable provides a standardized Cat6 link for fast wired Ethernet connections. With a length of three metres and a black PVC jacket, the cable is designed for installations between network devices where shielded pair cabling with U/UTP construction reduces external interference. Terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable supports reliable signal transmission for gigabit networks and typical home or office setups.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable offers consistent electrical characteristics across its length to support speeds up to gigabit Ethernet in compatible environments. The U/UTP construction helps limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for routing in confined spaces. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance, and the 3 m length covers common device-to-device distances without excess cable bulk.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers within home or small office networks
• Wiring gaming consoles, smart TVs and streaming devices for stable wired internet
• Short runs between patch panels and wall ports in small server or comms cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with individually twisted pairs unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Jacket colour: Black
• Typical supported speeds: Up to 1 Gbps on standard Cat6 links (dependent on network equipment)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the corresponding port on a router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separate from power cables or heavy electrical equipment to reduce potential interference. For best performance, use alongside compatible Cat6-rated patch panels and ports.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, avoid exceeding recommended bend radius and keep cable length within 3 m for this run; when planning larger installations, use certified Cat6 cabling and connectors throughout the link. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible wear.
