Netwerkkabel Tecline 2 m Cat.6 zwart

The Tecline 2m Cat.6 networking cable is a 2-meter black Ethernet cable designed to meet Category 6 performance requirements. It uses U/UTP construction and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide reliable wired connections between routers, switches, computers and other networked devices. The cable supports typical Cat6 transmission characteristics suitable for fast home and office networks where stable data throughput and reduced interference are important.

Advantages

This Cat.6 cable combines a 2 m length with U/UTP shielding to reduce alien and near-end crosstalk, enabling consistent signal integrity over common desktop and wall-to-equipment distances. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with standard networking ports, while the black jacket offers discreet installation in visible areas. The cable’s construction supports the higher frequency ranges and data rates associated with Cat6 applications compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops or gaming consoles to routers or switches in home networks
• Wired connections between network switches and patch panels in small office setups
• Connecting IP cameras or VoIP phones where a short reliable link is required
• Temporary or permanent desktop and workstation cabling where a 2 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (Category 6 performance)
• Length: 2 meters
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded jacket)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black
• Typical use: Ethernet LAN networking up to Cat6 frequency ranges

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of the device you want to connect. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and keep it away from sources of strong electrical interference where possible. For wall-mounted installations use appropriate clips or cable management accessories to maintain a tidy route and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6 cable for short to medium runs within the specified 2 m length; avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines and inspect connectors periodically for secure seating. If you require longer runs or additional environmental protection, consider selecting a longer cable or a shielded variant suited to the installation conditions.
