Netwerkkabel Tecline 7,5 m Cat.6 rood

The Tecline 7.5m Cat.6 Red networking cable is a 7.5-metre U/UTP Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for wired network connections that require Cat6 performance. The cable supports high-speed data transfer and is suitable for structured cabling in home and office environments. Its red sheath provides easy visual identification within cable bundles and rack installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable offers improved bandwidth compared with lower category cables, supporting higher data rates and reduced crosstalk due to its U/UTP construction. The pre-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure plug-and-play installation without additional tooling. The 7.5m length provides flexibility for desktop, wall-to-desk and small room connections while the coloured jacket simplifies cable management and fault tracing.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches, routers and wall ports
• Home networks and small office LANs
• Connecting networked devices in server cabinets and desk setups
• Temporary or permanent structured cabling runs requiring visible identification

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (Class E performance)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded jacket)
• Connectors: RJ-45 plugs on both ends, 8P8C wiring
• Colour: Red outer jacket
• Conductor type: Copper (solid or stranded depending on manufacturer standard)
• Typical use: Ethernet up to 1 Gbps and compatibility with higher-frequency installations per Cat6 standard

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other to the switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running parallel to mains power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. For rack or cabinet installation, use cable ties or cable management panels to maintain neat runs and minimize stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 cable for standard Ethernet installations up to 1 Gbps and for environments where visual cable identification is useful. Replace or re-terminate cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors. For optimal performance, maintain bend radius recommendations and avoid placing the cable under heavy mechanical load.
