Netwerkkabel Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 rood 5 m

The Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 is a 5 m patch cable designed for indoor network installations. Made with low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket material and available in red, it is intended for use in offices, control cabinets and other areas with IP20 protection. The cable series meets and often exceeds the transmission requirements of Channel Class E (ISO/IEC 11801, 2nd edition) when using Cat.7 bulk cable and also supports Cat.5e performance for Class D channels, providing a reliable basis for Gigabit Ethernet and future network cabling. All cables include latch protection and a moulded strain relief for improved robustness.

Advantages

The LSZH outer sheath reduces hazardous smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor use. Certified transmission characteristics ensure compliance with ISO/IEC standards for Channel Class E or Class D depending on category, while integrated latch protection and a moulded strain relief increase durability and connector protection. The red colour simplifies identification and cable management in installations.

Suitable for

• Office network connections and patch panels
• Control cabinets and IP20 indoor installations
• Gigabit Ethernet and standard data networking (Cat.5e/Cat.7 environments)
• Structured cabling where clear colour identification is required

How to use

Connect the MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 patch cable between network devices, such as switches, patch panels and endpoints. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch engages and route the cable within IP20 indoor spaces, avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical stress. Use the red colour to mark specific circuits or paths within your structured cabling layout.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH patch cable in indoor environments where low smoke and halogen-free properties are required. For best performance, select the appropriate category (Cat.5e or Cat.7) and verify channel components comply with ISO/IEC 11801 requirements for the intended Class (D or E). Avoid exposure to outdoor elements or areas with higher ingress protection requirements.
