Netwerkkabel UNITEK C18149AGY03-2M RJ-45 Cat8 2m zwart

The UNITEK C18149AGY03-2M is a 2 m Cat8 networking cable with RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP double shielding. It supports bandwidth up to 2000 MHz and data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps, providing a stable wired connection for high-speed internet, HD streaming and online gaming without noticeable delays. The cable is black and compatible with a wide range of networking devices.

Advantages

Double shielding (S/FTP) with four foiled twisted pairs and an overall aluminum foil layer reduces interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity. Shielded RJ-45 connectors further minimise signal loss and help maintain consistent performance. The cable supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing simultaneous power and data delivery over the same cable. Backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet categories ensures flexible use with existing equipment.

Suitable for

• High-speed internet connections and home or office LANs
• HD and 4K video streaming
• Online and console gaming (PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch)
• Connecting routers, modems, network switches, hubs and network adapters

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Bandwidth: up to 2000 MHz
• Data rate: up to 40 Gbps (40000 Mbit/s)
• Shielding: S/FTP (four shielded foiled twisted pairs + overall foil)
• Colour: Black
• PoE: supported

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports of your devices (router, modem, PC, console or switch). Ensure connectors are inserted fully until they click to establish a secure connection. For PoE devices, verify that the power sourcing equipment supports PoE and the device is PoE-compatible before powering through the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and electromagnetic sources to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8 cable for short runs up to the specified 2 m length in wired LAN setups, gaming stations and multimedia installations where maximum bandwidth and low latency are required. Avoid excessive bending and exposure to strong electromagnetic interference to preserve shielding effectiveness.
