Netwerkkabel VALUE 0,5 m S/FTP Cat.6a RJ-45 zwart

The VALUE 0.5m S/FTP Cat.6a RJ-45 Black is a short patch cable designed for network connections where space is limited. It supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 500 MHz. The cable uses shielded twisted pair construction (S/FTP) with foil-wrapped pairs and full braided shielding, has an impedance of 100 Ohm and 1:1 contact wiring in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and the moulded kink protection improves durability and bending reliability.

Advantages

The S/FTP Cat.6a construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, providing stable 10GBase-T performance over short distances. The 0.5 m length makes this VALUE cable suitable for tidy connections in rack, patch panel or desktop environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and consistent 100 Ohm impedance ensure reliable signal transmission. Flexible jacket and moulded strain relief allow installation in narrow bends without compromising connector integrity.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in racks or cabinets
• Short links between desktop devices and wall outlets
• High-speed 10GBase-T connections over short distances
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and improved shielding

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Cabling standard: Cat.6a (S/FTP)
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbit/s (10000 Mbit/s)
• Bandwidth: 500 MHz
• Impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45, gold-plated
• Wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices (switch, router, patch panel or network outlet). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp kinks and secure it with cable ties or organisers if needed. The short 0.5 m length is intended for direct device-to-device connections in close proximity.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6a S/FTP patch cable for short, high-speed connections where shielding against interference is required. Avoid excessive bending radii and mechanical strain on connectors to maintain long-term performance.
