Netwerkkabel zwart ShiverPeaks Cat5e RJ45-RJ45 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat5e networking cable in black is a 7.5 meter RJ45-to-RJ45 patch cable designed for Ethernet connections in home and small office environments. The cable uses F/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference and maintain consistent data throughput. With standard Cat5e performance it supports common network applications while the black jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding improves signal integrity by protecting the twisted pairs from external interference. The Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances. Molded RJ45 connectors provide reliable physical contact and strain relief for frequent plugging and unplugging. The 7.5 m length balances reach and cable management without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, switches, and routers within home networks
• Wiring office workstations and small server rooms
• Temporary network setups for events or testing
• Linking IP devices such as printers, IP phones, and access points

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Jacket color: Black
• Typical use: Ethernet networking (10/100/1000BASE-T where supported by installation)

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device (router, switch, or modem) and the other connector into the destination device (computer, IP device, or networked appliance). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-power electrical lines to minimize interference. For wall or rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within recommended temperature and bend-radius limits, avoid running it parallel to mains power cables, and replace the cable if connector damage or excessive wear is observed. Use Cat5e for standard Ethernet needs; upgrade to Cat6 or higher only if higher certified bandwidth or future-proofing is required.
