Ocun Bow Tube-Style zekertoestel wit 8,5-11mm enkel touw 65g

The Ocun Bow stands out among tube-style belay devices by pairing an ultra-light 65-gram aluminum body with V-shaped braking grooves that deliver noticeably higher friction than classic smooth-slot designs. This means controlled, confident catches on skinny single ropes down to 8.5 mm, without the weight penalty of assisted-braking devices. The Bow is a purpose-built tool for climbers who want a compact, durable, and versatile belay device that performs equally well at the sport crag, in the gym, or on long multi-pitch routes.

Highlights

• V-shaped braking grooves increase friction for secure, low-effort belaying
• Ultra-lightweight 65 g aluminum alloy construction—barely noticeable on your harness
• Accepts single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, plus half and twin ropes from 7.8 to 9.5 mm
• Guide mode for belaying a second climber directly from the anchor
• CE 0408, EN 15151-2, and UIAA certified for worldwide use

In daily use

At the crag, the Bow’s high-friction grooves let you hold falls with less grip strength, reducing forearm fatigue on long belay sessions. The wide rope slots feed smoothly, so paying out slack and taking in rope feels fluid even with stiff or slightly dirty ropes. When you switch to multi-pitch mode, the guide function locks the device in place on the anchor, allowing you to belay your second hands-free while managing the rope stack. The white anodized finish resists wear and stays visible in low light, while the rounded edges protect both rope and carabiner from sharp contact.
